Google buys Snapseed and takes on Instagram
Just five months after Facebook bought Instagram, Google is seen as making moves to acquire its own image processing service. Google decided to buy Nik Software company which has created a very popular image editing application called Snapseed.
At the moment no more details have been revealed, but certainly this is not a 1 Billion dollar buy out as it was for Instagram.
With this move Google wants to incorporate new features for editing photos on Google+ certainly superior to those offered by Instagram and at the moment Snapseed looks to be the software that can offer similar Instagram filters but with many more options that will be fully customizable.
