Serious issues announced on Twitter
For the first time since the days of creation, Twitter presented a serious problem. The main platform “froze” for about an hour.
When social media rised in 2006 it occasionally faced frequent interruptions. In recent years though no worthy problems have been noticed on the Twitter or Facebook networks.
“Users may experience problems with access to Twitter. Our engineers are now working to resolve this issue”
said the San Francisco based company in a short message on the main page shortly after 19:30 GMT.
At 20:30 the company had restored the issue and wrote “the issue is resolved and all services are now in operation.”
This was a massive blow for twitter as the company is constantly looking for new ways to compete with Facebook.
